What is SommelAI?

SommelAI is an AI-powered wine recommendation app. Scan a restaurant’s wine list with your phone camera, tell the app what you’re eating or in the mood for, and get personalized wine pairing suggestions in seconds.

How do I scan a wine list?

Open the app and tap the scan button on the home screen to open the camera. Point your camera at the wine list and tap the capture button when the image looks clear. The app will then extract the wines from your photo.

Why didn’t the scan pick up all the wines?

Wine lists vary in formatting, lighting, and print quality. If some wines were missed, try rescanning with better lighting or a steadier angle.

How many scans can I do per day?

Each user can perform up to 10 AI-powered actions per day. Each scan and each pairing request counts as one action.

Is my data private?

Your personal information is not shared with third parties in a way that identifies you. We may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our services and generate industry insights. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my data?

Email support@thesommelai.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include your Account ID (found in the Profile tab of the app). We’ll process it promptly.
